2017 Fall Style Issue Campaign

The Fall Style Issue has been somewhat of a seasonal brand cornerstone for InsideHook. The premise: Lady models don featured menswear items, completely overshadowing guy models in a semi-undeclared "who wore it better" battle. After some reader feedback about how trite the concept has become, we took things down a slightly different path. Lady models still dress up in menswear, but this time, to give a ... um... history lesson in fashion.

I wanted to do something a bit different on social this year, utilizing the carousel ad and full-screen canvas experience.

But first, here's a look at the winning ad creative:

The top 4 ads from the multivariate tests of 64 variations. These all had a relevance score of 8, and CPCs ranged $0.10 to $0.16. Then, taking insights from this, I made some nice canvas ads with the following creative:
